BIRD 1ST RULE
The safety of our birds is our primary concern. Mr. Peeper’s reserves the right to cancel a release if weather conditions are deemed hazourdous to the birds. This includes but is not limited to:
Heavy rain, snow, or sleet.
Persistent fog or low visibility.
High winds (typically exceeding 20-25mph).
Extreme temperatures (above 100F or below 32F).
Releases requested to close to sunset (our birds need time to fly home before dark when predators come out).
Refund schedule
In the event the birds cannot be released due to the weather conditions listed above the following applies:
-Rescheduling: if the event is moved to a new date (pending availability), 100% of your payment will be applied to new date.
-Cancelation: If rescheduling is not possible, you will receive a refund of the total minus 30% non-refundable service fee. This fee covers the cost of bird conditioning, transport to the site, and administrative handling.
- On-Site decisions: If the handler arrives at the event and determines a release is unsafe at the last minute, the service fee remains non-refundable.
Client Responsibility
It is clients responsibility to provide an outdoor location free of overhead obstructions (wires, heavy tree cover) and birds of prey if visible. If a release is canceled due to an unsafe release site provided by the client, the service fee may not be refunded.
Details
-Travel fee: if distance is over 30 miles it is $1.50 per mile to location. Locations only in Monroe County at this time.
- No releases after 3:30PM. This isn’t up for debate for the birds safety.
- Prices: for the pair release $250 for 2 birds
For the full flock $375 for all 6 birds.
