On January 12, 2021, Stephanie and Ronnie gathered in their home, beside their sweet son, immediate family and a few close friends to unite their lives in marriage. It was a bittersweet day filled with tears and hugs.
Stephanie and Ronnie first met in 2007 at a mutual friend’s house. As the two describe it, it was love at first site. They fell for each other immediately and moved in together the following week. Three years later, they welcomed a baby boy. While they had their ups and downs - like all couples - Stephanie and Ronnie’s love continued to grow and flourish throughout the years.

It has been such a pleasure and honor to be able to plan this wedding for this amazing couple! Wish Upon A Wedding reached out to me a couple months ago and asked if I would be will to plan this wedding for one of their wish recipients and without hesitation I said yes.

Unfortunately due to the grooms health setbacks we had to completely change the plan and have their wedding in their home. It was absolutely beautiful and perfect! You could feel the love in the room!

Thank you to every vendor that was a part of this, we couldn’t have done it without you!

So honored to be a part of this!

Tomorrow, on January 12, 2021, Stephanie and Ronnie will gather before a few loved ones to commit their lives to one another. While we had hoped to have this wish later this week at the Great Lakes Culinary Center, Ronnie has suffered some significant health setbacks in the past two weeks, forcing us to move the wish to the couple’s home. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Stephanie and Ronnie first met in 2007 at a mutual friend’s house. As the two describe it, it was love at first site. They fell for each other immediately and moved in together the following week. Three years later, they welcomed a baby boy. While they have had their share of ups and downs, like all couples, Stephanie and Ronnie’s love has grown and deepened throughout the years. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

In 2014, Ronnie’s life took a drastic turn when he inexplicably collapsed on the floor of his apartment. When Stephanie’s mother found him, hours later, he was disoriented and didn’t know who he was. She rushed him to the hospital where a cat scan revealed a softball sized tumor on the left side of his brain. Ronnie immediately underwent a complicated brain surgery.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

2020 has been crazy but we are excited for the future! Especially the future weddings!

This week has been a busy one - full of client meetings and planning. This week we confirmed that we will be a part of a Wish Upon a Wedding grant and we could not be more honored. If you’re not familiar with they grant weddings and vow renewals to couples facing serious illness or life-altering health circumstances. This completely falls in line with our beliefs and when we got the call I immediately said yes. We can’t wait to share more with you!

Tip Tuesday! If you can I would recommend leaving one or two days after your wedding. It is nice to have some time to breathe, sleep, pack, and enjoy being a newly wed before traveling. This will allow you to enjoy your honeymoon and have time to rest and relax!
