Plainsong Folk Festival

Plainsong Folk Festival Folk music, art and fun right on the outskirts of Lincoln, Nebraska! We found our home at the Templeton Acreage, a family homestead founded in 1881.

Our mission is to encourage the performance and presentation of folk music in Nebraska, to educate the public on the unique cultural and artistic value of folk music and to create and promote venues for folk music performances. The PlainSong Folk Festival began in the fall of 2002 as a showcase for local musicians and dancers. It is located at 11500 South 25th Street, Roca, Nebraska, which is at the southeast corner of South 25th and Saltillo Road.
