JUST ANNOUNCED: Baldwin County Coliseum to take in assisted living evacuees from Florida. The Alabama Department of Public Health will be running the operation.

Baldwin County Coliseum prepares to receive dozens of storm evacuees from an assisted living facility in Okaloosa County.

The Baldwin County Coliseum will open as a shelter for Hurricane Michael evacuees today, Tuesday, October 9th at 2PM CT.
We have trailer/RV parking space, but no hookups.
Pets are allowed to shelter in the arena behind the coliseum, but MUST be in a crate/container of some sort.

The Baldwin County Coliseum will be open for hurricane Irma evacuees beginning Friday, Sept 8th at 9AM CT. Pets are allowed.
