I have been drawn to photography since I was in high school, yes back when we developed film in a dark room. Actually had one in my school, best class ever. Shhhhhh....

After years of "playing" with the camera, I decided to go back to school to actually learn how the camera works. There's more to it than pointing and shooting! I launched my photography business back in 2014 and it was still mostly a hobby up until a few years ago when business picked up tremendously and now it's a full time job. But I have another full time job as well, I own and I am the head coach at CrossFit Unwritten in Salem. Yes, I like to stay busy! I specialize in maternity, newborns, children and families...sorry folks, I do not do weddings! I did a few early on and decided that was not for me. I just opened up a studio in Buchanan, Va this July and I am LOVING it! So much more room than my basement studio and oh so much natural light!

As promised, here’s a peek at this year’s red setup! I may add a few more tree decorations, but I couldn’t wait to share it. I’m still waiting on a few finishing touches for the all-white setup and plan to share it next week. Everyone who booked will have access to BOTH! ✨

And a little photographer’s note: This is my photograph, my backdrop, my sofa, my lighting—and my work. No AI here! Having to clarify that hurts my photographer heart a little. So much care goes into bringing these sets to life. ❤️

A gentle reminder to all my photography clients: My business will officially close on December 31st. Please download and safely save your session images before then, as I will no longer have backups available after closing. If your gallery has expired, email me to re-activate it.

🎄 Christmas 2026 Mini Sessions are coming! ❤️

This year feels a little different. These will officially be my last Christmas Mini Sessions, as I’ll be closing my photography business at the end of the year. Even typing that makes me emotional. 🥹

These will be indoor sessions at a temporary location in Fincastle, VA - exact address will be disclosed after booking.

So many of you have brought your families back year after year, and watching your little ones grow has meant more to me than I can put into words. Thank you for trusting me with those memories.
