We’re offering competitive hourly rates and bonuses, commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of retail floral experience, works well under pressure, has a passion for creativity, an eye for detail, a commitment to delivering exceptional floral designs, and knows basic computer skills. We are seeking someone whose production per hour meets/exceeds our current rate. The candidate will be required to provide us with that number as well as showcase your skills in the shop.
Job Responsibilities:
• Consistently create floral designs incorporating effective and innovative use of colors, floral materials, containers, and accent materials, while meeting established criteria for George’s Flowers design styles and cost of goods in a busy exciting environment
• Day-to-day responsibilities will be dependent on business needs including, but not limited to event design and installation
• Develop a working understanding of the basic George’s Flowers styles of design and accurately recreate in-house designs based on established standards
• Apply proper flower handling fundamental techniques
• Successfully interpret clients’ wishes on custom design orders
• Possible client contact and sales responsibility as business needs require
