Our Story

George's Flowers first opened as "George's... an affair with flowers" in Salem VA. A move to downtown Roanoke 6 months later when George Clements acquired the former "Noble's Flowers" business location at 430 Church Ave. A later change to the name was made to help with getting the long name and logo on printed material and reducing the time to answer the phones! George's at times has operated satellite locations. In Valley View Mall during the first 5 years of the mall. A small but really cool space in the Roanoke City Market Building was given a short trial run. George's Flowers purchased Floral Renditions in April 2008 and eventually consolidated both shops into one Design Center location. In September 2014, we consolidated our Design Center into our Retail Center. Marmalade our shop kitty also calls the George's home.
