The reality is…50% of foster families quit within the first year. That number is hard to swallow.

Fostering is hard, but it is so worth it. Becoming Fosters reinforces this truth by providing resources and support through podcasts, meetups and their annual 𝘏𝘦𝘺 𝘔𝘢𝘮𝘢 retreat.

Their goal to start 2023 is $4,000.

Can a “why” really be this simple?

Why I do this is summed up in one word— YOU!

It doesn’t feel right to label telling your stories as a “job.” I think of it as an opportunity.

An opportunity to love people. An opportunity to produce a lasting memory. An opportunity to tell with video what would only be told in words.

In honor of the final few days of the US OPEN, here’s my go to fun fact:

{NEVER BEFORE SEEN PHOTOS}

I was a ball girl in the US OPEN series back in 2010 and ROCKIN’ the frumpy look (I didn’t choose this outfit). Holding sweaty towels, getting hit with 120mph serves and getting yelled at by the pros, I was living my best life! For someone who was already the most massive tennis nerd in the world, this was a dream come true!
