Thirty years ago this month, I celebrated my very first wedding for a wonderful le***an couple. Now, many years later, I have joined together over 850 couples!

At these weddings, I have heard confessions, helped people overcome their fear of clergy, affirmed that God loves them, and welcomed people back to church.

After the ceremonies, I baptized their babies, counseled through difficult times, and celebrated the lives of family members lost.

Through it all, I've cried tears of sorry and tears of great joy. This is ministry. I love all of my couples as God loves them, with all my heart. Now, let's see if I can make it another 30 years!
