This photo pretty much sums up my brain for the past week... As a Planner & Creative, we always have this colorful combination going on up there with several new ideas popping up daily 🧠 Sometimes our thoughts these days are 2/3 organized and 1/3 mumbo jumbo... but I mean, who’s judging right?

I feel like the coffee break & cappuccino roses are my solid plans or tasks I’ve set for the day/week/month, that bloom once completed. And the zinnias are my mini website & instagram “project/task reminders” which I constantly try to push over to the next day 🤫 Then the marigolds & burgundy ranunculus perfectly represent those surprise thoughts that pop up in my brain like “OoOoo I’m ready for some iced coffee” or “wow this vision board is so dreamy” even “um, did I even eat lunch today?” 😂 Then I get a little jasmine greenery that reeeeeels me back in to the core of my thoughts & my day, my month and my dream -

I know it’s tough for all of us not being able to do what we love every weekend, especially going from all these magical “wedding weekends” to “stay-home weekends”... I miss running around, pinning veils in my brides hair, wiping tears of joy and watching people dance all night long... I miss those hugs & beautiful smiles. BUT, like those little calcynias show, love is livin’ on and as we know, it is not canceled. People are still celebrating, even if it needs to be from a distance. And as your Planner and a friendor, I’m here with you — colorful brain and all — and I will continue to be by your side. We will continue to believe, we will rejoice in the little things and we will make it through this time. Most of all, we WILL be celebrating again — and I can’t wait to party with you ✨

The subtle hint of floral definitely complimented his sleek grey suit! Ties are honestly such a fun way to add in a pop of color or even a tasteful pattern! Let’s just say, I'm a sucker for floral design elements in menswear... You? 🌼

To assign seats OR not to assign seats... that is the real question 🤔

1️⃣ Consider your event & the kind of EXPERIENCE you are wanting to provide — both for YOU within the planning process and your guests the day of

2️⃣ Note that assigned seating serves as a creative way to add in fun details & keep the seating process SEAMLESS (especially if you don’t have a Planner), while also allowing guests to enjoy those they might already know or who you’ve been wanting them to meet

3️⃣ Be sure to think about your meal selection & style of service — if Plated, it is easiest and most beneficial to provide specific seating arrangements for guests so your Caterers can properly prepare each table ahead of time... THIS IS A TIME SAVER

4️⃣ Always, always, ALWAYS leave a little extra room at a table or two for a few unannounced guests... It is ALWAYS GOOD TO BE PREPARED FOR THE UNEXPECTED, as you never know if somebody will bring a last minute plus-1 or if cousin Betty all of a sudden decided she could make it...
