Today marks the 75th anniversary of the D Day Landings. This is Mr Betty and his wide Eileen. They married in 1945 shortly after he was involved in the dreadful day. Many men survived that day, they got married, built families, and passed down memories so their legacy and what they had to do for their countries would never be forgotten. More than 70 years later they are still making an impact, Mr Betty is the oldest recepiant of a PHD (at 95) and if you missed the FLOTUS getting flirted with today by a D Day survivor you missed a treat. Thank you everyone who served.
