Hey there! I’m Catlyn, the chaos coordinator behind Chaos Coordinating by Catlyn. 👋

If we’ve never met, let me introduce myself!

I’m a wedding planner, timeline keeper, problem solver, dress fluffer, boutonniere pinner, emergency kit carrier, snack provider, hydration specialist, and sometimes even an emotional support human for my couples.

On wedding day, my job is simple: make sure you get to be fully present while I handle everything happening behind the scenes. From vendor coordination and timeline management to fixing the little things nobody else notices, I’ve got it covered.

You’ll often find me:

Every planner has their own experiences.

And that’s what makes this industry so special. ✨

There is room for all of us to grow, learn, create, and succeed. Appreciate your fellow planners because you never know when you’ll need advice, have a question, or need an extra hand on wedding day. Supporting each other goes a long way in this industry.

Wedding days are long. Event season can be exhausting. The timelines are packed, the phones are ringing, and there’s always one more thing to do.

A quiet reminder to pause, breathe it in, and remember why we do what we do. The chaos, the long hours, the sore feet… all worth it for moments like these. ✨

As Wedding Planners we are constantly asked, “When is the best time to get married in Florida?” ☀️🌴🌧️

Truthfully… Florida weather has a mind of its own 😂 One minute there’s a 0% chance of rain and beautiful sunshine, the next minute a random storm appears out of nowhere right as ceremony setup begins. Then 30 minutes later? Clear skies and the most magical sunset you’ve ever seen.

No matter the season, Florida is going to do what Florida wants to do. That’s why having a solid backup plan, flexible vendors, and an experienced planning team is so important. We learn to roll with it, pivot quickly, and still create an incredible day for our couples 🤍✨

Yes, I’ll even clean icing out of your hair if needed 🍰😂
These are the little things nobody thinks about… but the things we always have covered. Because being a wedding planner is so much more than timelines and clipboards — it’s making sure our couples can fully enjoy every second of their day ☺️
