May & June Announcements!
It is very important to attend all classes and rehearsals before Tech Week of In Studio Concert! ❤️RBA will be CLOSED May 23rd-25th for Memorial Day Weekend!
If your dancer is going to be absent, please be sure and message us on the Remind App after you have scheduled their absence on Jackrabbit Parent Portal.
🤍In Studio Concert 2026
🎟️All guests over the age of 3 years old are required to have a ticket, go to the link in our bio to purchase!
Please be sure to check your dancers’ casting (what days/times they are preforming) before purchasing your tickets!
✏️Volunteer sign ups! The link for sign ups will be sent via the Remind App, please be sure to sign up for a time that you will NOT be seeing the show. Thank you for your help!
‼️Monday, June 1st - Wednesday, June 3rd: classes will resume as regularly scheduled.
‼️There will be NO CLASSES the following days: Thursday, June 4th (Program A: Dress Rehearsal) & Friday, June 5th (Program B: Dress Rehearsal).
‼️When reading the Tech Schedule: be aware of Check-In times for specific Levels/Classes & please have the Remind App downloaded (updated) so you may receive updates on check-in/out times!
Tech Week, Do’s:
•Feed dancers before checking-in for rehearsals/performances.
•Dress dancers in their Costume Requirements (and ballet slippers) and have hair done neatly before check-in.
•Have extra pairs of clothing in your car in case of emergencies or accidents.
•Leave all street clothes, shoes and extra belongings with parents or in the car. We have very limited space backstage.
•Bring a water-filled spill-proof water bottle.
•Chaperones are welcome to bring quiet & mess-free activities to share with the other dancers while waiting backstage. Label all belongings!
Tech Week, Dont’s:
•No food or drinks backstage.
•No extra guests allowed backstage at any time (friends/family members).
•No makeup, body glitter, self tanner or hair products allowed backstage.
•No markers, slime, play dough, toys or crafts with small pieces allowed backstage.
•No electronics or headphones allowed as an activity backstage.

Dress Code 💃
•Hair: a neat bun, no flyaways, hair pins and hair nets only: no bun makers/doughnuts & small, non-distracting accessories.
•Jewelry: No dangling or large earrings, no smart watches & no large or distracting necklaces or bracelets.
• Tights & Skirts: All dancers are required to wear light pink or skin tone tights underneath their leotards. Skirts may NOT be attatched to leotards, they can be worn in the Centre portion of class ONLY. Skirts may NOT cover the knees and must be a ballet or dance skirt.
•Warm-Ups: Dancers may wear dress code approved ballet sweaters, knit overalls, or long sleeved leotards in class. NO leg warmers, boots or large/baggy shirts or pants.
Shoes: Pink or Skin Tone Leather or Canvas Split Sole Ballet Slippers.

Pre Ballet/Tiny Tots - White 🤍
Level 1 - Light Pink 🩷
Level 2 A/B - Light Blue 🩵
Level 3 - Burgundy ❤️
Level 4 - Royal Blue💙
Level 5 - Navy Blue💙

Adults - Any Colors all week!
Levels 6, 6/7 & 7 and Adults may wear any color leotards on Saturdays, any length skirts and may wear their tights over their leotards.

Dress Code🕺
Tops: Tight fitting shirts, class colors recommended. Black, white and gray shirts are also acceptable without graphics or wording.
Bottoms: Snug-fitting Black Shorts or Tights/Gymnastics Pants with gym shorts.
Shoes: Black, Skin Tone or White Leather or Canvas Split Sole Ballet Slippers. Can be worn with or without black or white socks.
•Please see the dress code above on details about hair, jewelry & warm-up clothing & accessories.

If dancers arrive without hair done we will send them out of class to the parent(s) guardian(s) to have their hair done.
If a dancer arrives 15 minutes late to class
or more, they will be asked to observe or to come back for a makeup class.
Dancers must arrive with time to use the restroom with the parent(s) or guardian(s) in the Main Lobby and may not leave after class without an adult. Please respect our space and the Main Lobby.

DAVID ALLAN’S NUTCRACKER, is Riverside’s Holiday Family Tradition for over 30 years, featuring the beloved characters of world renowned Choreographer, David Allan, performed on the areas largest stage. Showcasing the Nutcracker’s most spectacular choreography, from snowflakes to cannon fire, dazzling sets and gorgeous costumes, with a cast of over 110 talented and internationally known ballet dancers!

Front desk hours: closed Sundays & for all major holidays, we can answer your call Monday-Friday from 4 PM- 7 PM. If you call the desk and leave a message: please leave your dancers name & age, your email address, your phone number & how you heard about us!

Please arrive to your FREE trial class 15-20 minutes early and with a charged electronic device (cell phone) so you can fill out some paperwork and use the restrooms before checking in for class!

Leather Ballet Slippers are recommended for ballet classes as socks can be too slippery and bare feet are not allowed on the flooring.
Ballet Slippers can conveniently fitted in-person at Capezio in Riverside! Let them know you are from Riverside Ballet Arts (RBA)!

Adult Students/Dancers may bring a spill proof water bottle with only water inside and labeled with their name!

One Adult can Observe class at a time, per student! We have an Online Observation Portal available to parents (only) via a private Facebook group! All you’ll need is a Facebook account! Our Receptionists or Administrator can help set this up for you before or after class! They will also be able to help you with tuition, payment options & any questions you may have!
