We're Hiring a Fairgrounds Manager!

This role involves overseeing the marketing, planning, and organization of the Fairgrounds and Event Center, including its facilities, grounds, and staff. The individual will prepare the annual budget for review and approval by the County Manager. Additionally, the position manages meeting and party planning services for scheduled groups and community members. Familiarity with non-profit and community organizations is preferred. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and two years of relevant experience. The hourly wage ranges from $33.61 to $42.01, based on experience, with benefits included.

GATES OPEN AT 11AM!
🚗 Entry for rodeo spectators in vehicles is through the main Ouray County Fairgrounds Gate off of Hwy 550.
🚶🚶‍♀️ Pedestrian traffic is the ONLY traffic allowed through the Hwy 62 (Sherman St) entrance.
As a reminder:
🚫🐶 NO DOGS
🚫🚬 NO SMOKING (unless in specified areas under the grandstands)
🚫🍺 NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL OR COOLERS (beer, soda, water and canned mixed drinks will be sold at the Rodeo.
