Good morning everyone. Well one of reasons we went to South Dakota this year was to start the process of getting Deb's knees replaced. The reason for this is the VA in Charleston, SC wouldn't perform this for her. Not Dr Cupperman out of Summerville/Charleston wouldn't either. So the Orthopedic Institute out of Tea, South Dakota said that this should have been done some time ago. Just proves that the quality of service promised by the government for honorable military service is just a center point for the politicians for a vote and some of the civilian medical personnel are@ not in practice for providing a service stated in the Hippocratic oath they so supposedly took. So tomorrow she will be getting her left knee replacement done. Appears to be a procedure that will allow her to come back home Wednesday and start therapy on Friday. Next year she is looking forward to getting her right knee replacement done. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers that all will be good tomorrow and recovery and therapy will go well also.
