In 1951, Tom Pierson founded his Plumbing & Heating Company in Grasonville, MD, using the skills he acquired through the G.I. In 1967, the Portable Restrooms division was added. In 1978, the Air Conditioning Division was established, and Nanicoke Homes Sales Department for Queen Anne County was formed. In 1987, Pierson acquired six other restroom companies in Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. In 2

000, Pierson sold Nanicoke Homes to focus solely on the portable restroom division. In 1981, Doug Pierson was appointed President, marking a significant milestone in the company's history.
