🌟 How to Host a Memorable Senior Picnic 🌟
1. PARTY THEME
Ask the seniors you’re honoring to choose a theme and color scheme for the party. Share this with all the vendors and hostesses so everyone can coordinate the event look. Even the guests will often come dressed in those colors.
2. LUXURY LOW PICNIC TABLES
It’s imperative to have the right size tables to fit all of your guests. You also need rugs and tarps to go under them to protect your guests from getting dirty or damp from the grass. Low profile lighting, table runners and floral arrangements all need to be designed to withstand wind gusts. Finally, plan on having two pillows per person for seating.
3. ELEVATED SEATING OPTION
Middle-age guests and hostesses may prefer sitting at standard height tables, so it’s great to have that option in a coordinating design scheme for them.
4. EASY FOOD & DRINKS
Offer an easy to grab menu of fresh fruit, small sandwiches and finger food. More elaborate meals require bigger plates and additional cutlery that can be cumbersome for picnic guests.
5. KEEPSAKE ACTIVITY
Create an engaging activity for the guests to take away with them, as well as one for the honorees. At this party the honorees each had a bible that they asked all the guests to sign. And then all of the girls created star ornaments to keep as a memento of the evening.
6. PHOTO BACKDROP
Pictures are the favorite activity and way to memorialize the party. So having a simple, yet unique backdrop is the perfect way to cap off the gathering.
