Most of my bouquet beauty shots are bathed in natural sunlight with light backgrounds. I absolutely love the very dramatic dark background photo treatment that one of my home subscribers (thank you Tricia Pearsall) used in these two shots. The first photo is of today’s arrangement. The second photo was taken in April …viburnum accompanied by bleeding hearts and iris. So beautiful.

This week’s bouquets are all about the sunflowers! Like these beauties hanging out with some colorful zinnias, amaranth and celosia. Home Delivery or Fulton area front yard pick up is available. Subscriptions or just one time bouquet.

Tomorrow’s (7/25) bouquets Dorey Farmers Market, Inc. will include and the return of one of my favorite ornamental grasses 9 am until noon. Lots of zinnias and sunflowers too!

I love cheese toast! This morning I broiled a delicious one for breakfast. Feta and cheddar atop a .grains classic sourdough English Muffin. If you have not tried Jeanette’s bakery items yet, you are missing out. She sells out fast because they are so good. She is every other Saturday.

Despite the intense heat and the lingering wildfire smoke, this morning’s market was fantastic! Sold every stem that I cut this week. We enjoy all of our customers especially our SuperFans like Zach Reinhardt. Zach works at the market’s very popular booth (yes they have a misting fan and walking talking sunshine)! He and his girlfriend regularly purchase bouquets from us to decorate several rooms in their home. Just about every week. They love how long our flowers stay fresh! That’s because I condition them overnight in a cool room and always stir in just a bit of sugar to feed the flowers. Today he took home this monochromatic arrangement in white (with very aromatic phlox buds, Shasta Daisies, hydrangea, and yarrow). He also doubled up with two very colorful zinnia/celosia bouquets.

At least 3 people asked me about houseplants at last weekend’s market so we will have some coleus babies available tomorrow (7/18/26). Also some Lucious Gladioli, some Zingy Zinnias, some Cheerful Sunflowers, and lots of Wispy Celosia. Fragrant Rose Lilies too! 9 until noon

Quick reminder….we will not be tomorrow (July 4) but will be returning next Saturday (July 11) with lots of new blooms! Really enjoying this season’s glad color variations! Some brand new ones, some which are just starting to hit their stride and some oldie but goodies who really need to be divided this fall.
