In February 2023, I noticed a slight pain, but chalked it up to nothing. By May (mother's day week of all times) it was
confirmed. I had breast cancer, to be specific Invasive Lobular Carcinoma.

I went through my breast cancer journey privately. I had the best support team at work and home. My work team hustled to get things done in my absence so everything went flawlessly 🎀
Did you know we had 31 weddings in 2023 at Blue Orchid Florist? All while I silently battled breast cancer. I didn't want to tell my customers because I didn't want them to think we couldn't get the job done. Because of all of my brides and my work team, Blue Orchid Florist could remain open and stay successful.

Money can’t buy happiness… but have you tried a really good mascara? I mean beauty of over 40 can be challenging.

Seriously, money isn’t everything. It can’t buy peace of mind, genuine love, or more time with the people who matter.

But can it buy a little confidence, make you feel put together, and give your lashes a little extra drama? ABSOLUTELY. 😂

Sometimes it’s not about buying happiness. It’s about finding joy in the little things.
