How I problem solve during a wedding day…

We had a wedding where rain hit right at the time of the ceremony—but it was supposed to clear shortly after. I spoke with the caterer and we decided to open the bar + serve appetizers while we waited it out.

As guests arrived, we invited them under the reception tent instead of the ceremony site. The rain passed, guests enjoyed drinks + apps, and our team worked with catering to dry off chairs.

Once everything cleared, we moved forward with the ceremony outside as originally planned. We even did another round of apps + drinks after so we could take family photos before heading into the reception.

A quick pivot, great teamwork, and everything still flowed seamlessly 🤍
