We are excited to share that baby #2 is due on St Patrick's Day π

With Christmas and the start of my third trimester just days away, we will be taking some much needed R+R to celebrate this last holiday season as a family of three.

Before signing off, here are some pregnancy truths from this time around:
1) We're not finding out the s*x. We didn't find out the first time around either and loved being surprised at the birth. Henry is very excited to be a big brother and he thinks a baby sister is on the way. For now, we call baby Clover, in honor of their St. Patty's Day due date.
2) I have hyperemesis gravidarium. The nausea + vomiting has been relentless this time around. Unfortunately, after a blacking out incident in October (peak wedding season will knock even the best of us down), I ended up needing IV fluids and am still battling dehydration and low blood pressure regularly.
3) I have tried everything under the sun (that is pregnancy safe, of course) to combat the nausea. It wasn't until week 17 that I finally found a medicine that helped me go from vomiting half a dozen times daily to just a handful of times a week.
4) Burgers. That's my craving this time, which is vastly different from the kale + beets I craved with Henry. This craving is slightly problematic since I'm allergic to beef and pork, but I've found some killer veggie options. Shake shack's shroom burger really comes in clutch from time to time.
5) With Henry being a surprising 10 and half pounds, the doctors are keeping a close eye on this baby's size. We have a growth ultrasound scheduled at the 36wk mark - so we'll soon find out if another chonk is coming our way.
6) Yes, Eric has a mullet and it will likely be staying till baby comes lol. Thanks to a bet he made with our brother-in-law, he's been sporting this look since the beginning of fall. Honestly, I don't hate it lol.

Wishing everyone the happiest of holidays! We'll be back come spring 2024.
