As I wrap up my final day as the Wayne County 4-H Educator, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to the incredible 4-H members, families, volunteers, and community members who have made this chapter of my life so meaningful.
Serving the youth of Wayne County has been a great privilege. I am incredibly thankful for the relationships we've built, the memories we've shared, and the opportunity to watch so many young people grow in confidence, develop lifelong skills, and become tomorrow's leaders. Those experiences are ones I will always treasure.
To our volunteers, thank you for the countless hours you dedicate to making Wayne County 4-H the exceptional program it is. To our families, thank you for trusting me to be a part of your children's 4-H journey.
Although my time with Wayne County 4-H is coming to a close, I leave with great confidence in the future of this program. We were working on exciting ways to strengthen family involvement, enhance volunteer support, and create even more opportunities for youth development. I know these efforts will continue to build an even stronger future for our program at the direction of the new Educator and the dedicated individuals of the Wayne County 4-H Board of Directors.
I am excited to introduce your new Wayne County 4-H Educator, Zoe Robinson!
Zoe brings not only a wealth of experience but also a deep-rooted passion for 4-H. She is a former 10-year 4-H’er, Wayne County 4-H volunteer, former 4-H Program Assistant, and currently serves as a Regional HHS Educator. Her lifelong connection to 4-H combined with her dedication to youth makes her an outstanding person to lead this program into its next big chapter.
Zoe's first day as the Wayne County 4-H Educator will be Monday, August 3rd. I ask that you welcome her with the same kindness, encouragement, and patience that you so graciously extended to me. I know she will appreciate your support as she begins this new role!
Thank you for welcoming me into your 4-H community. I will always cherish the friendships, lessons, laughter, and memories we've shared. Serving as your Wayne County 4-H Educator has been an incredible honor.
As we often say in 4-H, let's continue to "Make the Best Better." I have no doubt that the future of Wayne County 4-H is bright because of the dedication, generosity, and heart of each of you.
