Rushing Blooms Floral Studio has moved to a larger storefront on West Broad Street and is now sharing the space with River City Flower Exchange, a co-op of local flower farmers.

The two businesses operate separately but aim to create a centralized hub for both custom floral arrangements and locally grown flowers, supporting Richmond’s local flower ecosystem.

The collaboration expands access for both retail customers and wholesale buyers while helping both businesses grow sustainably.

Big news! We moved!

Rushing Blooms is now located at 220 W Broad St — right next to Lift Coffee and only a block and a half up the street from our old home.

I loved our cozy little shop so much, but it was time for more space to grow.

What’s even more exciting: the new space will be shared with River City Flower Exchange, our beloved flower farmers co-op! Bringing together locally ethically grown flowers and sustainable floral design all in one place.

We’re currently surrounded by boxes, buckets, and ladders while we set everything up at lightning speed.

Doors reopen in just a few days.
