Ayo! Just me doing a little checkin and honesty hour 👋

I've been taking a little hiatus by spending much of my time in my happy place - the outdoors. Picking up new hobbies, getting healthier, and exploring the world has been a freaking blast and such a breath of fresh air. The goal is to direct this positive energy into my project moving forward and hopefully that reflects in the music I put out there for you all!

But to be completely honest, it's been difficult to navigate this evolving music industry and social media landscape with feelings of not knowing where to fit in or where to go with it all. Burnout, rejection, and self doubt on repeat definitely hasn't been fun but it has been the best learning lesson of all. I've now shifted my mindset to simply doing this for me and whatever it attracts, it'll be genuine and I'm happy with just that.

Big thank you and so much love to y'all for growing with me these years ❤️ And yep, new music veeeery soon and a big announcement even sooner!

I want to convey the full message of this one so please take a second and read the following - it would mean the world 🩶

June is men's mental health awareness month. As someone who faces traumatic and extreme mental battles daily, I thought this month and this day would be fitting to release my newest single:

𝑶𝑵𝑳𝒀 𝑯𝑼𝑴𝑨𝑵

I wrote this song to express that it always has been difficult to ask for help and explore vulnerability due to culture as well as roles and responsibilities engrained in us. I wrote this to share that it's okay to not be okay and although we interpret and express emotions differently, we are the same within.

My music has always revolved around mental health but this one has always hit differently and I hope it does for you too.

Started this fitness journey a little about three months ago and I'm happy to say that I've finally cut my first 30 pounds 💪

Proud is an understatement. I've come to understand that discipline eats motivation for breakfast and that no one or nothing can do the 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 work for you.

To be real.. I was at a place in life where I was overindulging, being lazy, and flat out not doing so hot in every way imaginable. But life and your body has an interesting way of giving you those wake up calls that most people choose to ignore. I chose to take a stand and tell myself that it's time to give my 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗢𝗥 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚.

This song means more than just the drums and melodies and I'm so glad I was able to work together on a track like this with my good homie who resonated with me the entire way.
