One of the most special things that I have ever done. Making my Papa’s casket piece last week..

I wanted something that was masculine but soft, just like him.

My entire childhood and into adulthood I always remember him along side my mema working outside on their flower beds, fruit trees and immaculate grass. They were married for over 60 years!

I also remember him as being the kindest most soft spoken man I knew. We named our son after both of my grandfathers, Iverson (aka Sonny). I am so glad we did. 🤍✨

Buried in his flannel shirt inside the prettiest casket I have ever seen, I sure will miss him.

We are so thankful for our friend and mentor, Lori!

Did you know she is why I started The Flower Shop in 2023? She gave me the idea and the courage to open my own doors in Pembroke. I came up to her shop for a year to learn and watch her prior to opening my own. And now I am back home in Richmond Hill. She is such a big part of our story.
