BOOKS ARE CLOSED 🤍 Hey everyone, I am announcing my departure from wedding videography after the short season I have this year! I am transitioning careers, investing more time with Java Jones Roasters, the family coffee business. I’ve decided to focus on something that will hopefully last for generations! For this year’s couples: this does not change anything for you!! I will still be at your wedding and delivering your wedding videos as usual 🥰

This was not an easy decision to make, and I’m so sad to close this chapter. But the next one looks pretty good too 😌 I’m sure once my wedding season is over this year I’m going to make another sappy post, but I still want to thank each and every couple that has booked me and trusted me to capture their precious moments. I’ve felt so honored and I truly have so much fun at every wedding!! Each one was memorable in their own ways. Each one an opportunity to live my dreams. I may still be working on smaller video projects here and there.

Happy Holidays from me, Jake, and Blair!!
As we celebrate Christmas this week, I will be taking this whole week off of all editing and admin work to be fully present in making holiday memories with the family. I am in a much better place mentally and emotionally than I was at this time last year and I want to soak in this season better than I did last year too ❤️ Thank you for making this year an amazing one for Sarah April Media! I love and appreciate each couple I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I’m so lucky to have such kind and warmhearted clients 🩷 capturing weddings and the emotions that flow through them, just never gets old. and I thank every single one of you for allowing and trusting me to create something special to watch for years to come.

That said, I am taking on even less weddings in 2026 as we (hopefully) plan to make some life changes over the next two years. I am only taking one more 2026 wedding, and holding off on all 2027 weddings for the time being. That’s not to say that I won’t be actively behind a camera though. I’m opening myself up to possibly other opportunities for personal projects! I’m not 100% sure what that will look like yet but it excites me!

Again, thank you for giving me a place to preserve and create ❤️

A never before seen video from 2 years ago. My sister and brother-in-law had a big wedding earlier this year, but some may not have realized that they had been legally married since December 10th, 2023! They had a small ceremony and we shared a very large charcuterie spread. It was a magical 2 hours. I wasn’t able to be the videographer for their big vow renewal, but I’m grateful I was able to capture this night. Happy early anniversary to Lizzy & Travis! Love you both 🤍
