A couple years ago, when Twitch first announced their DJ program, I recognized that TECHNICALLY my Lurk 'n' Work stream violated the rules, so I moved it over to Kick. After a week or two, it became clear that Twitch wasn't enforcing their rules, so I brought it back and we've been going strong since then.

Until 11:39 yesterday, as "Lights Out" by Peter Wolf played, Twitch turned the lights out on my channel. Suspended for 2 days, with a warning that continuing after the suspension would result in stronger punishment.

Soooooo, that prep work I did in 2024 is paying off, as the good ship Lurk 'n' Work has sailed over to Kick for good.

Monday through Friday, roughly 8am to 4pm Pacific. It's all music, no talking, with over 3500 songs in rotation. No repeats for 3+ weeks! Plus weekly features that celebrate Taco Tuesday, New Music Friday, and the most unlikely tradition ever, Chicken Dance Friday.

It's all taking place at Kick.com/djmikebrady - free to everyone, so come on over!

After several weeks of not being able to stream in the evenings because my ISP was doing "Maintenance" 🤬 things have finally returned to normal, and I'm BACK in Thursday nights!

What an awesome, amazing night at Prom last night! These kids were there to dance and sing, and they made the most of every moment - once the sun went down!

I played a full hour before any of them came to the dancefloor, but once the ambience was right, they stayed till the very end!

One thing I couldn't help but notice though, was that just about every huge banger was over 10 years old... Songs I've been playing regularly since my older kids were in high school still pack the floor! Sure there were a few newer ones that got it done too, but most of the requests were for songs that came out before 2016!

Hey Music Lovers! You may have noticed the absence of Lurk 'n' Work the last couple days... No need to send out a search party, I'm in beautiful Hawaii with my family enjoying some time away from all our responsibilities... But this is Thursday, and through the magic of... Eggs were being colored, the pastells were popping,
As Ma Bunny cleaned up with rhythmical mopping.

The baskets were packed, they'd done all the shopping,
In the BradyLand studio, the records were swapping.
The chat was so active, the people all bopping,
For the PartyZone vibe, it's all music, no stopping!
