🚧 Construction Begins at Rosebud Park! 🌳

Exciting improvements are on the way to Rosebud Park! Construction is set to begin, with several upgrades planned over the next six months.

Improvements will include:

🚻 A new public restroom facility

🚗 Additional parking

🌳 Landscaping and other park improvements

🚧 What Does This Mean for Park Visitors?

As construction gets underway, a large portion of Rosebud Park will be fenced off and closed to the public for approximately six months.

During this time, residents can expect construction equipment, increased vehicle traffic and ongoing work throughout the project.

⚠️ For everyone's safety, please stay out of all fenced-off areas and follow posted construction signs. These areas will remain closed even when crews are not actively working.

🌳 Looking for a Place to Enjoy the Outdoors?

While work continues at Rosebud Park, we encourage residents to explore our other Richland Hills parks and trail system. There are plenty of opportunities to get outside, stay active and enjoy time with family and friends!

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we make these improvements. Temporary closures and construction activity may cause some inconvenience, but we're looking forward to the finished park and the benefits these upgrades will bring to our community.

🌳✂️ Join us for a Ribbon Cutting at Kate Baker Park!

We're excited to celebrate the grand reopening of the newly renovated restrooms at Kate Baker Park! Come out and see the improvements, enjoy time at the park, and celebrate with the Richland Hills community.

In preparation for our Haunted Hills celebration, The Link Event & Recreation Center will be closing early at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 23rd and will remain closed for the rest of the day.

🎃 But the fun doesn't stop there! Join us for Haunted Hills at the Richland Hills Plaza starting at 6:30 PM!

The Link will resume normal business hours on Saturday, October 24th.

Mini Fall Break Camp #1 is coming up Monday and Tuesday, October 12–13.

Kids ages 5–12 will enjoy games, arts & crafts, gym time, outdoor play, and plenty of time with friends.

- Camp runs 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Campers should bring a sack lunch, and we’ll provide an afternoon snack.

👻 Join us for our first-ever Sensory-Friendly Haunted Hills! 🎃

This special early-access experience is designed specifically for children with disabilities and their families, providing a welcoming and sensory-friendly environment where they can enjoy Haunted Hills at their own pace. The sensory-friendly experience will be located inside The LINK starting at 5:00 p.m.

After the sensory-friendly experience, families are welcome to stay and enjoy the regular Haunted Hills and Library Stacks activities beginning at 6:30 PM!
