📣 PSA 📣

We are going to take a moment to get a little serious because the amount of scamming happening in the wedding industry right now is truly out. of. hand.

Not only are couples feeling it, it’s trickled over to us vendors more too.

What used to be easy-to-spot check cashing schemes, has evolved in to some sort of scammer pretending to be an inquiring client interaction. They try to get you to click a false zoom link and take control of your device and sensitive personal accounts.

It’s frustrating. And it is costing us hours and hours of our time.

COUPLES, We can only IMAGINE how frustrating it is for you when you’re trying to find vendors you can trust.

I think we’ve all heard and seen the horror stories of booking what seeeeems like a “well-rounded and somewhat affordable” vendor only to be devastated when they take your money and no show. We see it all across the board! Photographers, makeup artists, DJ’s- any wedding profession. No type is excluded. The scammers know no bounds!

We know how frustrating it is. We know. And we empathize with you. Always be sure to take the time to ask for examples of their own personal work, read through reviews, and have a meeting (or a few) with them! Trust your gut.

A true professional wants you to be comfortable and confident leading into your big day!

WE’RE HIRING: DJ ASSISTANT!

Do you love music, weddings, and being part of an unforgettable party? We’re looking for a reliable, energetic, hardworking individual to join the dB Entertainment crew!

As a DJ Assistant, you’ll be the DJ’s right-hand person—helping with:

🎤 Setting up & tearing down equipment
🔊 Speakers, microphones & lighting
💃 Keeping the wedding timeline moving
🎶 Assisting with music cues & special moments
📸 Helping capture behind-the-scenes content
🕺 And, of course, helping keep the party rolling!

You DON’T need DJ experience. We can teach you the equipment and the ropes. What we do need is someone who is dependable, outgoing, positive, willing to work hard, and knows how to have a good time while still being professional. Wedding industry or hospitality experience is a plus!

This is a part-time, event-based position, primarily Saturdays (and some Fridays) during wedding season.

📍 Based in: Southwest WI & Traveling 
💰 Pay: Event Pay Base Structure (starting at $200 per event while learning and increasing with experience) 
📅 Start: October 1st 2026

Dustin had the honor and privilege of officiating his sisters wedding this Summer. 🥹

One of my favorite moments was Dustin adjusting his sisters wedding dress! It made me smile to think of allllll of the Maid of Honors he’s briefed during the rehearsals we’ve directed on what to do for the best photo outcomes!

Details matter. Especially when they’re done in love!
