We’ve been working hard in the flower fields to prepare for the season, but we’ve also been doing some work OUTSIDE of the fields to prepare for our first ever event on the farm this August! 🤩

Today’s special find is this old vintage bike we want to use as a prop for photo ops at Flower Fest! She’s not ready yet, and I’d like to put some TLC with our Mud Dog Flower Style on ‘er- but I’m so excited. It’s going to look so lively with our fresh flowers in that front basket! 🥰 💐

It’s our hope to offer an array of beautiful photo spots for our U-Pick Flower Fest! For special professional photos, grabbing a quick selfie, or capturing a memory with your group! 📸

Sometimes upholding your values looks like a feed bag full of thistles. 🪏

Would it be faster to spray herbicides? YUP.

Would it reflect my values? Not even a little.

When I FIRST made the decision to give growing cut flowers a go, I drew a hard line that included only using growing and maintenance practices that would be safe for my hands and the precious little feet running around our farm.

After all, honoring His creation and the 8 generations on this land, means leaving it better than we found it.

A true labor of love. All good things are. 💛

Oh Miss Daisy Mae, you make our hearts so full. Even if you are a little stinker sometimes. 😄
