Hey everyone! 👋 Ya girl is still here! ☺️

Flowers are just REALLY slowing down and I’m only getting 1-2 arrangements/bouquets a week. 💛

Peep this special bouquet I put together for a styled session I have tonight! I am SO excited to add some natural color into the photos and have fun and just be creative! 💐 📸

Senior photos are definitely getting more and more buzz about adding fresh florals, and obviously- I’m here for it. Channeling some of that tonight. 🫶🏻

This is my first year growing dinnerplate style dahlias. They definitely can take a little bit of finessing to work into an arrangement to make everything feel balanced (or intentionally asymmetrical.) But the beauty clearly outweighs any design challenges.

I’ve been saying yes to all opportunity trying to grow my flower hobby. Trying to get people beautiful flowers in their hands because it physically pains me when I can’t share them with the world! 😆

Nature is running its course and my flowers are definitely on their way to phasing out for the season.

But today, I took some intentional time to cut something for myself! Colors I liked. The best looking flowers. The premium flowers. NOT just “scraps”…And I let myself have them.

She’s beautiful and she’s all mine!

Can you believe this is my FIRST EVER fair entry?! 👩‍🌾💐🎡🐄 Like, of anything. Ever. I saw it last year, and after really loving flowers said, “Hey! I could do that!”

Yep! Almost 30 years old and have just about no idea how this whole thing goes! 🤷‍♀️ But I’m so excited to participate!!! 😃

5 days from now, if you see Dahlias looking a little sad, please remember my entry this way! I’m trying to wrap my head around why flowers are judged so early and then on display when they’re on the decline. Maybe it’s just how it is all around? 💁‍♀️
