One Last Shoot before I'm on Medical Leave til FALL! Right Hip Repair happening tomorrow!!

Saturday though I took a break from pre-op prep to document An Artist's Reception at a local Art Gallery! There's not much greater than getting to use my Art to capture another Artist's Art.

I've gotten the privilege to see some of Lisa's "fresh off the brush" pieces over the last year once they were finished, and each one is more spectacular than the last.

Shimmering silvers and holographic glitters just don't come through in image like they do in real life;soooo make sure you stop in to the Nancy Cantrell Dender Art Gallery in Etowah, TN (on the corner, right next door to The GEM Theater) now through September 19th to see a massive Collection of her "Interpreting The Light: A Journey Through the Seasons" Paintings.

You can own an Original Mini Watercolor, or a Print....and check out the CUUUTE MINI VENDING Machine to let it surprise you with which of her creations you need! The MAGNETS are my personal favorites, and your fridge needs one, or a few, too!

1) you’re NOT booked unless you’ve paid the Retainer 50%. Do that ASAP to make sure your get your preferred appointment.
2) You can still share, and get referral credit for EACH booked referral off your final payment on the day of! **make sure they know to tell me YOU referred them when they inquire**
3) Clothing wise: No horizontal stripes, no small checks/plaids/ginhgham prints as they “move”/swirl with the Moiré Effect in-camera.

These memories popped up TODAY…from 7 years ago on the 29th of June (Happy Belated Anniversary Katie & Julian!!) it was a HOT one in Charleston, SC but mannnn was it STUNNING! The Bride, Groom, & their whole fantastic crew didn’t let the heat, and sweat, stop them from having the time of their LIVES!

It reminded me of what I miss since the accident in September 2022 took me out of the full day Wedding game….BUUUUT I’m slated for Hip Repair surgery #1 sooooon🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 (though much sooner than *I* had planned), and while I’m terrified of the Bloodclot risks post-op , I’m more excited to get these Hips FIXED; so that I can get back to being ALL the things for my Bride’s & Grooms!

Sewing ladies in dresses, fixing busted zippers, dismantling and re-making Bridal Bouquets, even figuring out a way to camouflage broken cakes…and once McGuyver-ing a headless Groom Cake Topper, without couples ever knowing; WHILE capturing the day in Timeless | Classic | VIBRANT fashion that stands the test of time, is my WHOLE ❤️

“They call me the FIREMAN”, “The Calmer of Chaos” “The put you in your place, but you don’t mind it. Master”…and after 25 years or orchestrating controlled insanity, I mean “planning weddings”😉, one beautiful couple at a time, with the last 16 behind the lens I’m BEYONNNND READY to get back to doing what I was MADE FOR🥹🥹🥹
