This is difficult to write as I’m still trying to wrap my head around the heartbreaking realities the last few months have dealt.
The most devastating is that After 22+ years in the Wedding industry, the last 15 of which have been behind the camera, I must admit defeat and say that this busted body can no longer capture full 8-12 hr wedding days. Elopements or super small 2-4 hour events only from here on 💔💔💔💔💔
In March, it was discovered that not only did my right hip have a severe labral tear, but my left hip had also received the same kind of tear from the September 2022 vehicle sandwich I was subjected to. The first doctor had given Hope of a repair to my right hip, but the Hip Specialist I saw in March advised there was “too much damage for a repair”.
My only hope now for pain relief from walking, sitting, even sleeping lies “around FIFTEEN YEAR from now, when insurance will likely approve a hip replacement. As you’re too young now for them to approve it.”!
As if that wasn’t enough enough of a blow to send me spiraling, two weeks later my neck specialist dropped the bomb that the “only possible hope” for pain relief from the new damage that accident did, on top of the old damage from the other car accident I was sandwiched in,over 20 years ago, is for a TOTAL Neck FUSION.
Which after the last of the two neck surgeries in 2018 left me with extreme PTSD I admit I am TERRIFIED of another operation on my neck, especially that may not alleviate any of the pain growing there.
Thennnnnnn came the miraculous Mini STROKE around May 4th that landed me in the hospital for four days. Everything “resolved” and *physiaxlly* I look fine, like I always have, but this body is broken and RIDDLED with pain.
It’s KILLING me to admit defeat, to give up my beloved Weddings, that I loooved so much, BUT I’m not done with this GIFT that GOD HAS GIVEN ME for capturing the loves and lives of you beautiful people! It’s just not going to look like focusing primarily on large Weddings like I once did 😭
I may move a little slower thus the longer Session, and require a little more help carrying gear going forward, BUT I’m STILL SHOOTING!!!
Just shifting focus more to Family, children, Teens & Seniors, Births & Bumps as well as ramping up my Headshots, Business Branding & Marketing plus Real Estate Photography& Airbnb Outfitting gigs!
While adding a focus on Capturing & Curating Elopements or small 2-4 hour Weddings.
This is where you all come in! Over the next two months I’ll be OVERHAULING my Website, and need a few specific Shoots to help bump up my other portfolios, and scoot away from the heavy wedding focus it once had.
That being said, sessions and pricing changes are coming too, and these promo shoots are a great way to get some Mega discounts before the new Collections take affect!

-5-6 Seniors (especially 2-3 Senior Guys) who want to be adventurous and don’t mind getting wet at the creek or River!
-Bumps & 1 or 2 Births in Cleveland, Chattanooga, or Knoxville! (Home birth preferrrrd but I’m also skilled with C-sections and regular hospital births😨)
-Two Elopements ( one in the mountains, and one on a Beach) to include an Everlasting “Faux Real Florals by BraskaJennea” Bridal Bouquet and Groom’s Bout.
-Two Onsite/In Office Business Branding & Team Headshots
-One Restaurant or Food Truck needing Menu items photographed, and Venue or Truck kitchen photos
