It’s such a treat to bring celebrations like this to life!

The 2026 calendar is overflowing with weddings, private parties, and community events and I’m SO excited to share this year’s farm-grown blooms with you all. Thank you to all the NM farmers for growing such amazing art supplies and making all my work & play possible.

This year we’re featuring flowers from yappy dog farm, Rowan & Wren, Gwen Dragoo, enchanted gardens nm, Jessica Otterstrom, Mini Falls Farm, BurqueBeeFarms, Vida Verde Farm and Catering, Jessica Shoemaker, good.dirt.farm, Chispas Farm, and more! Spring weddings celebrated in the heart of Albuquerque, New Mexico hold their own little soft spot in my heart. Such a dream! 🌿✨

I’m feeling especially grateful to be returning for another wonderful season as the preferred floral vendor at Old Town Farm. Wow! What a great feeling. And equally I’m SO excited for the start of our local flower growing season! Soon the fields all around New Mexico will be bursting with color & those blooms will make their way into wedding days and celebrations like this one. I’m beyond honored to have this unique opportunity to connect all of this year’s new clients, old friends, and local small businesses with the beauty and abundance of our NM agricultural & floricultural community. This year will be an overflowing year of growth and connection & I’m so proud to be apart of it!

Thank you for sharing this journey with me! Looking forward! 💗

Flowers from Kara stands firmly against policies and institutions that harm, criminalize, or dehumanize people- including immigration enforcement practices carried out by ICE and political agendas that fuel fear, displacement, and family separation.

I’ve built my business to be rooted in community care, dignity, and the belief that every person deserves safety, belonging, and the freedom to live without fear… the freedom to thrive! That includes immigrants, undocumented neighbors, refugees, and all communities targeted by state violence and exclusionary policy.

This work has never been just about flowers. It’s about how resources move, who is protected, and how we show up for one another when systems fail us. Choosing to operate locally, ethically, and community-first is part of that resistance - a way to invest in people instead of systems that harm.

This safe space is held with intention, courage, and care for one another. We the people have the power. We are the 99%. We stand with our brothers and sisters in Minnesota.❤️‍🔥

Sunlight, sweet love, and color all around. 🌿✨

This was an unforgettable celebration that reminds me why gathering matters. There’s nothing like laughter carrying through the space and joy that fills our souls. Togetherness. Community. A moment of joy.

In times that feel uncertain, choosing celebration is its own kind of resistance. Holding space for beauty and connection is how we keep going, and most importantly, how we take care of one each other.

I honestly can’t wait for the warm New Mexico days filled with gathering & preparing all the beautiful locally grown flowers for your celebrations and daily moments of joy. Thank you for letting Flowers from Kara fill your life with beauty from our wonderful community. ♥️

A little love letter to last fall…🍂

Bold blooms, rich color, and flowers grown right here in our beautiful home of New Mexico… Each stem carrying the care of the people who planted, tended, and harvested them. Last season was a reminder of why local flowers matter so much. They’re not just beautiful; they’re soul food.

Choosing locally grown flowers keeps resources circulating within our community. It supports farmers, makers, artists, and small businesses who show up day after day, especially when the world feels heavy and uncertain. In times like these, intentionally buying local is one of the most tangible ways to care for one another.

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, there’s a lot of intention being poured into how to honor love in a mindful way—one that aligns with these values of care, sustainability, ethics, and community connection without relying on imported flowers. As soon as plans take shape, they’ll be shared here. Thanks for your patience! If you have any ideas on what you’d like to see my little studio produce this cold season for Valentine’s Day, I’d love to take suggestions. I’m always available for a brainstorming creative session with you amazing flower-powered people. Reach out via DM or comment below.

Until then, thank you for choosing beauty with purpose, for supporting local, and for letting flowers be a small but powerful way to nourish the heart. ♥️🌿✨
