We believe in farm-fresh product, brought in for every event so the flowers in every Botanica creation are at their absolute best. Every personalized creation requires a minimum of 48-hour notice so that we have time to select the best product from the best suppliers and have time t

o properly hydrate and care for each and every flower before it goes into our floral art. The artisans at Botanica believe it is essential to pay close attention to every detail to ensure the event is as close to perfect as possible. We call it the Botanica difference and it starts from our core belief that we are creating art, not just a flower arrangement. Combining the experience and talent of Flowerama with the direction of head floral artisan Botanica Floral Artisans strive to provide the Columbus community with a fresh and creative take on floral art. Patrick and Natalie’s day at Mount Vernon Estate in Ashland was nothing short of magical. These two have been on the sweetest journey together — one filled with surprises, love, and so much joy. They originally planned to tie the knot earlier this year, but life had a beautiful twist in store. Around their first wedding date, they found out they were expecting their baby girl!

When they rescheduled, they couldn’t have chosen a more perfect time. Fall finally decided to peek out and show its colors, wrapping their celebration in warm golden light and rich autumn hues. The air was crisp, the leaves glowed, and everything about the day felt meant to be.

We had just gotten back from Virginia ourselves, and as soon as I arrived at Mount Vernon Estate, I couldn’t help but notice how much the architecture and feel of the venue reminded me of the stately charm around Monticello. Later, when I saw photos of George Washington’s Mount Vernon, it all clicked — that same timeless Virginia elegance runs through every detail of this place. It’s grand and graceful, yet welcoming in the way that makes you want to linger just a little longer.

Denise with Annie Rose Events completely transformed the reception space — every detail was elegant yet inviting, with the kind of thoughtful touches that made guests feel right at home. From the floral design to the candlelit tables, it was a true reflection of Patrick and Natalie’s style: timeless, heartfelt, and full of joy.

And while the day was all about celebrating their marriage, it was also such a joy to see their sweet baby girl there to share it with them. She was a ray of sunshine all day long — and the biggest smile spread across her face when her parents cut the cake. It was one of those moments that made the whole day feel even more special, like everything had come full circle in the most beautiful way.
