I wish I had a brilliant caption to share with you tonight. Truth is, I’m running on fumes because we’ve all been sick and we’ve had a tonsillectomy in the last week. It’s been WILD!

However, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. I’m looking forward to the next round of photoshoots coming up! I’m finishing up my last two in the queue.

I’m really having a moment with black and whites lately. There is something about letting the emotion come through without the business of color.

I had THE BEST time capturing my niece and her fiancé this past week. Time is just unfolding so quickly around me. Grateful I have a camera to try and capture every moment.

There are always just a few pictures that I believe translate better in black and white.

The moments where the emotion becomes overshadowed by the color.

The images that I imagine you returning to in YEARS with a little twinkle in your eye, because you remember. You remember the goofy personality of your girls. You remember the way they make you light up with they embrace you. You remember how silly it was to try not to look in the same place during your Photoshoot.

They just need to be saved in a special sort of way. Black and white.
