I contacted Rich to cater the Baby Shower Brunch I held on October 2nd. What a fantastic experience. We spoke at length about what I was hoping for and Rich provided me with a very detailed plan to include a server. The menu was a great mix of breakfast and lunch fare and my guests raved about the food. Maria was there to set up and help guests as they went around the brunch table. Simply Elegant provided more than enough food for my event and at the conclusion it was package for use later. I didn't need to provide a thing and for the first time thoroughly enjoyed an event in my home. I highly recommend Simply Elegant, you will not be disappointed.

Congratulations to the Washington Football Team for making the NFL Playoffs.

The WFT kicks off their game against Tampa Bay on Saturday evening at 8:15pm.

We are offering Individual Charcuterie Boxes for fans to snack on during the game.

They are priced at $10.00 per box and will be available for pick up at the Café, on Saturday afternoon.

Happy New Year to everyone!!

As everyone knows 2020 was challenging year for all of us.

Simply Elegant has been able to maintain our business, on a modified level with the help of our amazing kitchen crew - Delmis,
Marlin and Marazita.

Last week we partnered with Blue Cross/Blue Shield Care First to provide 400 Boxed Lunches for Inova Fair Oaks and Inova Reston Hospitals.


We also catered a small New Year's Eve Dinner Party and small dinner for one of our corporate clients. (All Covid Safety Guidelines mandated by the CDC, were followed.)

We just want to let everyone know and that we are available for any catering needs - breakfast, lunch and/or dinner.

All meals can be prepared and served in individual containers.

Hello Everyone -
This past Tuesday was the Chinese Lunar New Year.

One of our clients decided to celebrate this event tonight and asked Simply Elegant to cater the reception.

Since it is the Year of the Boar - we knew we had to offer a Suckling Pig - Chef Paul did an amazing job with a "low and slow" roast. The meat is tender - the skin is crispy.

This event will not be Boaring at all.

Happy Fourth of July !!!

To help keep cool this Fourth, here is a refreshing recipe for
Mango Strawberry Lemonade:

1 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
1 cup Water
1 cup Sugar
½ cups Mango Puree
1 pint Strawberries
2 cups Club Soda

In a blender, blend lemon juice, water, sugar, and mango puree, until blended well and sugar dissolves.

Once blended, add in strawberries. Pulse until strawberries are cut down a bit but still remain chunky .

Pour into pitcher or glasses. Add club soda and ice. Stir.

Serve with a garnish of mint, strawberries, lemon or have it plain.
