My first large custom name sign and a very happy customer!
This may look like a simple sign but has actually hours of work behind the scenes.
It was especially challenging because it was in Bengali, which has so many curves, delicate lines, and intricate details.
I had to design the artwork, print, hand-cut both the paper and foam board, plan the construction, assemble everything, and make sure it was sturdy enough to stand on its own.
And the amount of foam dust... let's just say by the end, I couldn't tell where my carpet ended and the foam scraps began. 😂
After material costs, I barely made about $30 for nearly three hours of work. I knew it wasn't a profitable project, but this was my first large custom sign, and I wanted to challenge myself, master the process, and make sure my client received something special.
Seeing how happy it made her made every minute worth it. ❤️
