A couple of weeks ago I did some yearbook head shots. It was a bit different from my normal senior photos since they wanted me to shoot with a white background and they are going to photoshop a background and cap and gown onto the photo. 🤯 We decided to grab some of him in his jersey while we were at it, and I love how those came out! Glad I was able to help out a Canadian family that needed these quickly.
If you have a senior in 2025, now is the time to book their senior photos. We will go outside and grab some great photos to remember this important time!

I got to drive out to Cle Elum today and photograph several generations of the Klem family. I'll be honest, it was hard to choose just a couple to share tonight since I love so many! The family was fun and easy to work with, (unusual when you're dealing with such a big group) the weather was perfect, and the location was gorgeous.

It felt so good to shoot again last night!! I didn't realize how much I've missed it this last 18 months. Had a blast capturing this family which was all in one place for the first time ever. It's not the perfect photo since Riley (the little girl)is making her face, but with the number of people in the photo, and two little ones, I think it's pretty darn close.

I am doing my first family shoot in over a year tonight! Super excited to get things going again after this last 18 months! Shooting with this cutie pie and her ENTIRE family. Of course she is much bigger now, and has a little brother too. Looking forward to it!

I haven't picked up my camera to take photos of people since March when everything shut down. So it was an amazing feeling to be able to take some senior photos yesterday. (yes I wore my mask the whole time and kept my distance) It was made even better by the fact that they were for a kid I first met when he was 8 or 9 years old when I photographed a military homecoming for his family. I've remained friends with Ariana and Rick over the years even though we don't get to see each other often enough, & it was so awesome to see them yesterday to catch up, and get Aidan's senior photos. So crazy it's been so many years since the homecoming. Time flies.

I hope you are all taking care of yourselves and your families during this crazy time. I had planned on offering a spring special, but obviously that went out the window since we are quarantined and stuff. Hopefully when this blows over I can do summer specials, and we can get some gorgeous photos for you all. Until then, practice social distancing, be careful, and wash your hands!

Not sure if anyone can help, but I am looking for an affordable space to do some holiday minis in the south end, specifically Renton. My house studio isn't big enough, so I haven't done any for years, but would love to start again. Would love a space with natural light, and wood floors. Any ideas?

It's been forever since I've posted on here I know! Not sure if anyone is still following, but figured I'd share this anyways. I was up until 3 am last night, but it was well worth it...because I got to watch this little boy see his dad for the first time in 6 months. He was so excited, and as soon as he saw him walk in and get into formation he yelled through the silent gym "that's my daddy!! That's my daddy, not your daddy!" It was so sweet and cute. I had to follow the red shirt through the sea of green to make sure I didn't miss this moment right here

I had a blast with this senior session this morning! I don't think we had even a moment where we weren't laughing and having fun. Which is how a photo shoot should be in my opinion! And how gorgeous are those fall colors?

I got to hang out with some of my favorite people and get some family photos for them in the NW mist. Jamie and I have known each other since our first quarter of our Freshman year at WWU. (and no I won't say how long that's been ;) ) And I've known Ryan almost as long. It's been amazing to basically be part of the family and watch the kids grow, it's hard to believe how big they are now! pretty soon they will be taller than their parents.
