The perfect DJ for our wedding — flexible, professional, and absolutely incredible
We could not recommend DJ Dave Holmes enough. Our original DJ canceled on us about two months before our wedding, and we were understandably nervous about making a change that close to the day. Looking back, we are so glad we ended up with Dave.
Our wedding had a lot of moving parts. It was an outdoor wedding under a sailcloth tent at a private residence, with a generator setup for the DJ, plus a number of personal touches and moments that required very specific timing and coordination. Our first dance took place by the pool with live strings playing along, our entrance needed to hit a very specific part of a song, we had fireworks announcements, and throughout the night there were a lot of little details that needed to come together seamlessly. Dave handled every single one of them perfectly.
He truly went above and beyond for us. His announcements were polished and perfectly timed, he was incredibly flexible with everything we asked for, and he executed the night exactly the way we had envisioned it. We knew we wanted a more low-key DJ who would let the music speak for itself, and Dave completely delivered on exactly what we wanted.
We were a pretty specific couple when it came to our music and overall vibe, and Dave was so accommodating. He let us choose all of our songs, understood exactly what we were going for, and was agreeable and helpful every step of the way. He really listened to us and made our vision happen.
Dave ended up being one of the strongest vendors we worked with. We could not have been happier with him, and we are so grateful that he ended up being our DJ. If you are looking for someone professional, flexible, calm, detail-oriented, and genuinely committed to making your wedding feel like you, Dave is absolutely the person for the job. We would recommend him without hesitation.
