Announcement: Temporary Pause on Trunk or Treat Event

Dear Community,

We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to take a moment to update you on the status of our beloved Trunk or Treat event. Due to significant personal grief being experienced by our organizer, we have made the difficult decision to put the event on a temporary pause.

We understand how much this event means to our community, and we appreciate your understanding and support during this challenging time. Our current plan is to resume Trunk or Treat in 2025, and we look forward to bringing back this joyful celebration of community and togetherness.

Thank you for your compassion and patience as we navigate this period. We will keep you updated on any further developments and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Are you and your family looking for something FUN to do this SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2nd from 12-3PM?? Look no further! Come hang out in the beautiful Village of Reese there are LOTS of activities! What a fun event to kick off all your Christmas festivities!

Don't forget to stop by the vendor tent and check out what Reese Family Engagement is selling for your littles! Magic Reindeer Food for Santa's Reindeer!

Lots to do on the activity list this weekend! We can't wait to see you at the annual Christmas in the Village event. This Saturday 12-3 PM.

Flyers will be available at select locations around town. Look for stamp cards also!

Completed stamps cards will be entered in a drawing for a $50 visa gift card 🎁

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! THANK YOU so much to everyone that participated, helped, and came to the Reese Community Trunk or Treat! Another AMAZING year! From donuts 🍩 , cider 🍺 , cotton candy 🍬 , s’mores 🍫 , barrel 🚂 , hayrides 🚜 , first responders, food trucks, characters, silent auction items - WOW! We cannot thank everyone enough! YOU are what make this event so successful each and every year! THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! We hope you’ll come back next year for more fun!! 🎃 🐈‍⬛ 👻

📣📣 THIS SILENT AUCTION IS GOING TO BE OUT OF THIS WORLD 🌎

Tonight we would like to announce 4️⃣ more AMAZING items!

The first from Sloan Museum and Longway Planetarium 🪐 ! Two adult and youth passes to both!! This is a $74 total value!

Second, donated by Airborne Adventure park in Saginaw. This is 4 two hour adventure packages along with 4 grip socks. There are two of these valued at $108 each!

Third, donated by the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum is one family pass valued at $36!

Last but not least donated by Bill and Cele Thompson is two s’mores kits for all your fun fall bonfires!!

As always, don’t forget about the scavenger hunt or our candy monster at Market Grey! We are still looking for donations of candy, snacks, juice boxes, fidgets…..ANYTHING prepackaged!

📣📣 OUR FINAL CHARACTER ANNOUNCEMENT

This year we’ve got Bowser, Mario, Luigi and Toad joining us! You’ll find each and every one of our characters under their own tent for easy to spot locations!

Don’t forget about our scavenger hunt happening now through the start of the event! You’ll need 5 stamps to get entered into our drawing for some AMAZING prizes!

Also, don’t forget about our candy monster located at Market Grey! He likes to munch on candy, snacks, juice boxes, fidgets, anything prepackaged!

🚨 HUGE THANK YOU SHOUT OUT TONIGHT!

First, we’d like to thank St. Elizabeth home and family for their AMAZING contribution again this year! St. Elizabeth has stepped up the past few years to help us ensure we can continue to make this event the BEST ever! So, THANK YOU!!

Second, we’d like to give appreciation to Legendary Tree Care! We cannot thank them enough for their generous donation to our event! This helps us bring all of this to you for FREE!!!

Third, we’d like to thank the Reese Car Show for their generous donation! The Reese Car Show supports us each and every year and they help make this all possible!!

Fourth we’d like to thank the Reese Baseball Association for their candy donation! These help ensure our characters have a special treat for the littles when they visit them! THANK YOU!!!

Fifth we’d like to thank Donna Tetil - Century 21 for the candy donation that allows our characters to pass out candy to the kiddos too!!

And finally, THANK YOU to Village Gate Coins for donating all our paper products for cider, donuts and tables!
