✨ The Annual Family Holiday Light Show is back! Red Morton Park turns into a glowing playground of lights, lasers, and holiday music thanks to Dancers in the Park and Redwood City Parks, Recreation & Community Services! ☕️ Sip hot chocolate, soak up the sparkle✨️, and dance along if you feel it.💃

Two themed shows nightly Now–January 1 at 🕡 6:30pm and 🕢 7:30pm on the Valota Road side of Red Morton Park. New Year’s Eve shows are at 8:30 and 11:30pm. Enjoy the light tunnel while you’re there. Parking available in the Veterans lot off Madison Avenue.

Love costumes? Got big energy and holiday spirit to spare? We’re looking for adult volunteers to help bring the Redwood City Holiday Parade to life on Saturday, Dec. 13.

Jump in and help make the magic happen by:

✨ Assisting with costumes and behind-the-scenes prep
✨ Walking the parade route and spreading cheer

Join us Saturday, December 13, 10am–6pm-ish in Downtown Redwood City for a refreshed take on a hometown favorite. ❤️🎅

This year brings new festival areas, more food + craft vendors, and an upgraded Santa’s Village hosted by the Redwood City Parks & Arts Foundation — complete with hot drinks ☕️, cookie decorating 🍪, holiday storytime 📖, and letters to the North Pole ✉️🧑‍🎄.

We’re stacking the day with live performances 🎶, photos with Santa 🎅, a holiday music + community singalong 🎤, carnival rides 🎡, and a parade 🎈 that’s leveling up with bigger features and a new route. The Caltrain Holiday Train 🚂 will roll through too (just already full for riders). And of course — we’ll close out the evening with our tree lighting 🌟 tradition.
