Mychal's began as programs for people with developmental disabilities, and over the years we've grown to include not only our café, but also our print and embroidery shop! To make it easier to stay connected with everything happening at Mychal's, we've decided to combine our Facebook accounts into one!

Another exciting new item! Introducing our Bacon Jam Toast! 🥓🍞 Crispy toasted bread topped with house made bacon jam, perfectly melted brie, crisp apples, and finished with an over easy egg on top. It’s the perfect balance of savory, sweet, and rich in every bite!

This month is Autism Awareness Month! Kate has been a part of Mychal’s Programs since 2016, and her dedication and hard work shine through every day.⁠
⁠
In 2024, Kate shared her experience working at Mychal’s Café and her goal of learning how to make an omelet. That video quickly gained millions of views and introduced so many people to what we do.⁠
⁠
Since then, Kate has mastered the omelet (thank you, Chef David Lefevre! ), makes some of the best cappuccinos, and continues to grow while bringing her positivity to Mychal’s Café every day. We have no doubt that she will continue building confidence in her knife skills (which are already so good!)⁠

This Autism Awareness Month, we wanted to highlight one of our amazing employees who we are so proud of. We hope that Kate’s story, along with the stories of our other employees, inspires more companies to hire people with disabilities and help close the 85% unemployment gap, whether by working with Mychal’s Learning Place or in other ways.⁠
