We’ve had a busy summer cooking for clients with Gwen Marlowe Foods & Catering

The most delicious dishes are usually created by simply combining a minimal amount of fresh, high quality ingredients

Quiche is the perfect example. Just cream, eggs, cheese, salt and pepper to taste, and toppings of your choice in a simple pie crust combine to make an irresistibly delicious yet simple breakfast or brunch entree.

Serve with: Arugula Salad dressed with olive oil, fresh squeezed lemon, salt, pepper, chili flake (optional).

40th birthday party for cousin

As a gift we made Filet Mignon w/Mushroom Demi Glacé, Mashed Yukon Golds over Melted Leek Sauce, and Roasted Frenched Carrots & Asparagus

Also on the menu was Chilean Sea Bass w/Hand Cut Mango Salsa

Both were a huge hit and we were happy to celebrate Amelia

Ok.

So when my cousin asked us if we’d be interested in donating 100 meals for the to raise money in support of the we didn’t even have to think twice! We were in. And ESPECIALLY on ? Yes. Yes. YAAAAAAAASSSSSS!!!

What we absolutely did NOT see coming was the reaction to this salad...

I mean look at it. It’s a salad. Of course if you’re familiar with the reputation then you already knew it was never going to be JUST ANY SALAD!😉

We have received DMs, texts, face to face compliments, etc by no less than 30+ women about THIS SALAD.

We’re simply blown away by the response! So much in fact that we will be shooting a how-to recipe video and posting it THIS WEEKEND! Now you can make it all on your own whenever you want!!!

In honor of such an AMAZING event that raised $14,000+ for the we have decided to call it...

“The Go Girl Glow! Salad”

Last year was a trying time for all of us. Particularly hard hit was the food industry. Companies like ours were forced to stop serving large groups and had to find a way to make it through the slow months ahead.

There was one point for 3 months where we didn’t make one sale. Not one single penny. That hit us hard.

Later in the year there were certain clients whose business during the unprecedented difficulties that arose in 2020 LITERALLY saved our company. We are always grateful for work but last year’s work meant so much more.

To thank those special clients we took them sample size boxes of our family meals and grazing table spreads!

They were so surprised and very appreciative! And are looking to place orders soon. And once again we are GRATEFUL❤️

She’s not “Gwen” or “Marlowe” but she is their mother. (Our company I’d named after or two oldest daughters) She’s also my best friend and the love of my life.

It does not matter how delicious and beautiful the food my team and I make in the kitchen is. Nothing happens without this woman. She is the heart and soul of Gwen Marlowe Foods & Catering and she is so incredibly talented at making our beautiful dishes look like $1,000,000.

I’m eternally grateful that 13 years ago she saw how miserable I was working at my job then knowing I loved to cook and that she grew up in a catering family and asked if I wanted to start a catering company.

Here we are still plugging away and still very happy.

Thank you Anna Marie for being my everything and changing the course of our life for the better.
