⭐️ Back in October, I was approached by NBC to cater for a team that was filming an upcoming documentary surrounding the Kentucky Floods. Of course I was beyond thrilled to be involved in ANY way. I was so blessed to get to feed the NBC team for a week as they went throughout Knott County filming for their new series.
⭐️ Then the question came, “Can we film at your venue?”. You 100% can. Below you can see a picture of Terry Adams, who survived the floods back in 2022, sitting on our front porch as he was interviewed. Listening to his story was something I will never forget.
⭐️ It was an honor to use my venue for such a cause. I have been a part of weddings, baby and bridal showers, corporate lunches, and car rallies. To be able to add the filming of a true hero here was indescribable. I absolutely love my job and the opportunities that it gives me.
⭐️ The upcoming episode of “Survival Mode,” titled “Kentucky Floods,” promises to be a gripping and emotional journey for viewers. Scheduled to air on NBC at 10:00 PM on August 18, 2025, this episode centers around a devastating natural disaster that hits eastern Kentucky. As unprecedented floods sweep through the region, families find themselves in life-threatening situations, clinging to rooftops and trees in a desperate attempt to survive the rising waters.
