Can we chat floral details real fast?

I’ve recently had a photographer mention that another florist hadn’t given them enough or quality flowers for a flatly photo. I asked if someone paid for the blooms and they just assumed that the flowers we brought were available for use for other vendors. 🤔
In one way-yes- for the designs that the couple commissioned us to create. Florist don’t really bring extra blooms for others to use when not requested and paid for, or already built into their pricing.
Imagine if we gave the photographer 25$ in blooms, then the caterers, bar services, coordinator, baker…..that could be over 100$ coming from the florist!
My advice??? Chat with your other vendors and see if that is something they would like and then if it fits in your budget, let your florist know so they can order, plan and charge according. 😌
We want your day to be cohesive and we are more than happy to order extra blooms for your other vendors! Florist are looking to run a successful-profitable business so that we can continue to do the job we love!
