Somehow I was able to make a front facing arrangement today, even in January. (Pics are mostly from the side.) Camellias are so unwieldy and top heavy, so I worked with them- short, low, and a few open with plenty of just opening blooms tucked in. Formal perfection was not my goal today, but cooperating with the beauty of what is.

Merry Christmas! I attempted to make a design on sourdough for the first time, for Christmas dinner. Herb, leek and garlic… And of course since flowers make everything more beautiful I just had to spend a couple afternoons making rose apple pies. 😍 I hope you had a wonderful day!
