Steph and Ryan’s Wedding.

One of the most intentional weddings I’ve ever been a part of. They truly just wanted to BE with their guests. Their wedding was a whole weekend-long celebration in one of their favorite places, Mt Shasta, California.

Riding the ski lift to the top of where they said “I Do”, guests cheered and tossed dried flowers as Steph and Ryan walked back down the aisle as husband and wife. But not just any dried flowers. All of the flowers that Ryan had given Steph over the years that she saved and dried for the wedding 😭

A PARTY it was, including the most gorgeous fruit ‘cake’ since cake isn’t their thing. And a wedding cake shaped piñata to top things off (all before the after party!)

The biggest congrats to you and Ryan!! Thanks for trusting me and my team with your big day 🤍

Hiring a planner means hiring someone to handle the last minute pivots that come with weddings. 🙌🏼
At this wedding, we had spotted rain showers all day and weren’t sure if we’d be able to have our reception outdoors or not. Tracking the radar all day, our team made the last minute decision to move indoors. Minutes after we were set up inside it began POURING rain. Moral of the story- always have a plan B when possible. In NorCal you never know when the heat, wind, rain or smoke will make you pivot. Thankful for my team that’s always up for a challenge and always working hard (with a smile) to get the job done!

From this pic, you’d never even know that 2 hours before the ceremony a random rain cloud POURER over their decor. Everything was removed, table cloths dried and tables reset just in time for the ceremony!

Have you heard of an ‘Unplugged Ceremony’? Best idea out there in my opinion!! Let the professionals capture the great photos *without* hands in the aisle and iPhones all throughout.

Fun/not so fun story…right before this beautiful ceremony in the apple orchard, I stepped on a bee which resulted in my foot swelling to double in size 😳 aaaaaand apparently I’m allergic to bees 🤷🏼‍♀️
