He’s the Barrelman we all know and love during the Red Bluff Round-Up, and right now he needs your prayers! JJ Harrison is having his appendix removedβ€”we’re waiting to hear how his surgery went Wednesday night!

As expected, JJ was in high spirits sitting in his hospital gown waiting to go under.

He brings the laughs, the unforgettable moments, and the energy each year.. Help us wish him a speedy recovery so he can be back on his feetβ€”a few pounds lighterβ€”entertaining the crowd.

Help us wish one fantastic man a belated Happy Birthday! A director since 2019 and a volunteer since 1995, Tim Kuhn’s unwavering support of the Round-Up’s community efforts does not stop. He may catch a tee time or two out at Wilcox Oaks Golf Club, but come rodeo time this man is working hard behind the scenes handling token booths, bars, and all the banking.

We know, β€œthank you,” is not enough for all of the volunteer hours our directors put in, but we sure appreciate you! Happy Birthday, Tim πŸ₯³

We gather with family, fire up the grill, and enjoy the blessings of this country because they paid the ultimate price.

This Memorial Day Weekend, we pause to honor their bravery and those who gave their lives in sacrifice. We remember not just their service, but the families who stood behind them, the freedoms they fought for, and the legacy they left behind.

We have our first-ever North State Challenge Champion! A huge congratulations to Dakota Eldridge, who claimed victory in steer wrestling at both the Red Bluff Round-Up and the Redding Rodeo-two of the biggest rodeos in the PRCA! Winning both in the same year is an incredible accomplishment, and Dakota is walking away with $2,000 and a one-of-a-kind custom North State Challenge buckle to prove it.
