Reading Downtown Improvement District

Reading Downtown Improvement District The Reading Downtown Improvement District Authority has kept downtown Safe, Clean, and Green since 1

The Reading Downtown Improvement District is focused on creating a vital, productive, and commercially active environment in downtown Reading. DID provides cleaning, security, and marketing services for a specially designated commercial district in the city, and also sponsors several events and activities throughout the year, including MidDay Cafes and the Reading Holiday Parade. DID continually strives to make downtown Reading a cleaner, safer and more inviting place to live, work, and visit.

This is Andrew K. at the Reading Downtown Improvement District. As my time at the authority comes to an end, I want to thank our great community for supporting us during this difficult year. The outpouring of support can't be overstated. Because of this, and the unknown future, I created the Reading Fire + Ice Fest History Magazine during my last days at the authority. I truly believe, as a born and raised Reading citizen, Fire + Ice fest was a key player in changing outsider perception of downtown Reading. This was a blast to work on, and was important for me to find a way to honor the fest. I hope you enjoy it. Please share with your friends and share your favorite moments of F + I down below. The magazine can be found on our website. Thank You everyone,
Andrew K.

This page will soon go dark (or will be managed by the city to take advantage of our follower count) so instead, follow Destination Downtown Reading, where they will continue to update everyone on the small businesses downtown. As the Special Project's Director, it's been an honor serving my hometown of downtown Reading. With an office team of only three people, we really were the little engine that could! Until next time!
