Friday we held another Ambassador session with guest speaker who runs Lola Wright Enterprises and leads alongside her husband.

Lola walked us through why we communicate the way we do and gave us tips for understanding ourselves first, because our impact depends on it. We opened up in the session, taking the time to practice and build each other up. This is what this program is built for: growth through connection and learning.

This Mother’s Day, we are honored to cast the spotlight on three mother-daughter pairs in our community who are doing something pretty remarkable: building stronger businesses and stronger cultures together.

We had the opportunity to hear from Nicole and Abbie Downer, who are partnering for growth at ; Eliana and Mia Torres, who are both a part of the team at ; and Donna Delaney and Kelly Dowell, who built their foundation together at Donna’s company and continue working alongside each other through Kelly’s business, .io

These women believe the work means more when the people you love are part of it. They learn from each other, push each other forward, and pour into building a better tomorrow.

To every mom building something larger than herself, knowing that your children, no matter how old, are watching, learning, and stepping into their own, Happy Mother’s Day. We see you and we are grateful for what you bring to this community.

Reese Witherspoon once said, “If you’re one of those people who has that little voice in the back of her mind saying, ‘Maybe I could do [fill in the blank],’ don’t tell it to be quiet. Give it a little room to grow, and try to find an environment it can grow in.”

That’s exactly how Influential Encounters took flight.

We kept hearing the same thing from women across our industry: I love this work, but I don’t always see myself reflected in the rooms where it happens.

So we stopped waiting for the room to appear. We set the table ourselves.

That’s what Influential Encounters is: an intentional community where women in male-majority industries meet each other, share what they’ve learned, and walk away knowing they’re not the only one.

We are just one week out from our Women’s training where women from across the snow and ice management world will arrive in Minnesota ready to learn beyond what we know today, to stretch until we reach outside our comfort zone, and to stand shoulder to shoulder with others who understand the grind and level up together.

We are stepping bravely into hands-on training, sharper skills, conversations that build confidence and connection that lasts long after the training is over.

And yes… we’re bringing the fun with us too. ;)
