My "WHY"...

A few months ago, a friend reached out to "hire" me as their day/month-of coordinator for her daughter's wedding. Having done this so many times with/for friends and family and doing other event planning, it didn't fully dawn on me that I could get paid and actually make a business out of this. The thought had crossed my mind quite often to begin a business of this kind because I truly enjoy it, but I never allowed myself to believe. But sometimes we just need that nudge (and the trust of someone when we least expect it) to get off our behind, believe in ourselves and trust that it may actually turn into something real. I know first-hand how stressful it is for a mother of the bride on the day of her daughter's wedding (especially during the reception) and to NOT have a wedding coordinator! I'm super organized and thought "I got this" but there were a few things that I felt didn't meet my standards and were "missed" during the reception because I thought they were being taken care of by the venue. Also being pulled away from festivities with questions by staff are things that still stick with me years later and would have been avoided had I hired a coordinator. SO much goes into creating the perfect day and everyone involved deserves it to be magical!! ✨ So thanks to my friend Adele for trusting me and giving me the confidence to dive into this venture!! I look forward to working with future brides and their families!
