While growing up in Raymond, I loved sitting on our front porch on early mornings, talking to my mom while she drank Folger's Coffee. As the owner of The Flower Box on the Square, coffee powered Mom's mornings.
Now, when I am back in Raymond, I love sitting on my friend's front porch drinking Velvet Ditch Coffee Roasters, watching the fog roll over the hills. Right before Covid, I learned how to roast green coffee beans, adjusting temperatures, air-flow and time to accentuate the bean’s natural flavors.
